Price of Florida condos up more than 20 % in a year.

Punta Gorda, FL. Real estate market continues on the rise in Florida. According to the Florida Association of Realtors latest housing data, the market is showing a solid increase in pending sales, higher average prices and less inventory than the previous month.
The good news is bringing back smiles to SW Florida homeowners that have now a chance to get better prices for their properties.

"We are in front of at least three brilliant upcoming years for real estate in Florida", said Sarasota real estate mogul Michael Saunders at a meeting with top Realtors in Englewood, Fl. "And is not just the reduced inventory but the increasing amount of families that are moving to Florida from every corner of the US that are substantially improving the market conditions", confirmed Saunders.
The median price for a town-home or condo was $ 105,000.00, up 20.8 percent over March 2011.
The median sales price for a single family home in Florida was $ 139,000.00. a 10.3% more than March 2011.
