It was about time! Miami and Palm Beach share MLS data again.

Friday, April 22, 2016

Palm Beach, Fl. Finally, The Realtors Association of the Palm Beaches (RAPB) and the MIAMI Association of REALTORS (MIAMI) jointly announced that they have "reached an agreement to share Multiple Listing Service (MLS) data once again to benefit their collective members, as well as consumers."

Whatever deal was reached behind doors, this agreement ends an era of a nasty feud fight over MLS rights, that raised some questions around the money involved on the handling of Realtors data, and costed thousands to hard working agents.

"It was about time this crazy situation ended" said Fernando Pettineroli, a Realtor member of both associations. "Sellers and buyers were at the mercy of the most ridiculous stories ever heard about data sharing, basically driving them to a market condition more proper of 1975 than the 21st Century."

In the joint statement, RAPB and MIAMI expreseed that "are looking forward to a long and successful working relationship to benefit their members and customers."
Amen to that.
